Ebury’s Senior Data Analyst – Treasury role is located in Málaga or Madrid with hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote).

Join our Data Analytics & Reporting team to develop and maintain Ebury’s Data Platform, enabling treasury decision-making, risk monitoring and regulatory reporting across the globe.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics, preferably related to Treasury/Finance.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience building agentic AI workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineering, Treasury and Product teams.
• Model data in the data platform to perform Treasury analysis and build reports for Treasury stakeholders.
• Design, build and maintain AI agentic workflows to automate Treasury data processes.
• Manage end-to-end treasury solutions across jurisdictions and deliver reports to stakeholders and auditors.
• Build dashboards and visualisations on the data platform for Treasury reporting and controls.

Senior Data Analyst - Treasury

Location: Málaga or Madrid (Spain) - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

Ebury’s strategic growth plan would not be possible without our Data Analytics & Reporting team and we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Treasury domain!

Our data mission is to develop and maintain Ebury’s Data Platform and serve it to the whole company. This platform is the backbone of Ebury: it supports internal decision making, allows us to monitor our Treasury positions and risks, comply with regulatory reporting obligations and enables commercial opportunities globally.

The Data team works closely with Treasury, Product and Tech teams to coordinate and implement data analysis initiatives helping the Cash management, ALM and Treasury Reporting teams. Some of the projects we are currently working on include: MtM valuations reconciliation with our Treasury reporting system to ensure completeness and accuracy in our Financial statements , cash operational charges data analysis to reduce Treasury costs, liquidity data analysis to help ALM team manage daily liquidity obligations, and building AI agentic workflows to automate routine data operations and decision support , and many many more!

As part of the team you will

• Work closely with the rest of the Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineering, Treasury and Product teams


• Be responsible for modelling data in our collaborative data platform to perform critical Treasury data analysis and build reports and reconciliations for the Treasury domain


• Design, build, and maintain robust AI agentic workflows and analytical tools to automate and enhance Treasury data processes and decision-making


• Manage end-to-end treasury solutions across all jurisdictions of the company from requirements gathering, building optimised data models and delivering the reports to our treasury stakeholders and auditors


• Maintain and build dashboards and visualisations on the data platform using our BI tools for Treasury teams to monitor reporting and controls

What we’re looking for

• 6+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics - applied to Treasury or Finance is a plus!


• Advanced SQL skills - must be able to read and write complex SQL queries


• Experience working with AI and building agentic workflows


• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail


• The ability to manage, organise and present data in a clear, concise and actionable format


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding work environment


• Track record of working autonomously with time management skills


• Fluency in English


• Financial Services and Capital Markets Experience (FX, Payments, Money Markets, Treasury Management, etc) is a good plus!
