Bertrandt AG Spain busca un Senior Data Analyst para apoyar a un cliente, conectando ingeniería mecánica con estrategia de negocio y posicionamiento en el mercado de powertrain.

El candidato debe tener grado en ingeniería mecánica o similar, al menos 5 años de experiencia en investigación de mercados y análisis de datos, excelentes habilidades en Excel y PowerPoint, y dominio del inglés; se exige capacidad de viajar cada 6-8 semanas.

Formación

• Degree en Ingeniería Mecánica o formación técnica relacionada.
• Experiencia de al menos 5 años en investigación de mercados y análisis de datos.
• Capacidad para traducir datos en asesoramiento estratégico.

Responsabilidades

• Analizar grandes conjuntos de datos y extraer la información clave.
• Resumir datos en formato Excel y convertirlos en presentaciones ejecutivas en PowerPoint.
• Actuar como punto principal de contacto para solicitudes del cliente y presentaciones finales.
• Realizar investigación de mercado y análisis de competencia para definir el posicionamiento de productos del cliente.
• Realizar análisis de la competencia y comparar con productos del cliente.
• Mantener actualizaciones diarias de noticias sobre tendencias de la industria.

Your role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support one of our clients by bridging the gap between complex mechanical engineering and high-level business strategy. This role goes beyond database management — it acts as the link between engine and transmission data and the strategic decisions that drive our client's market positioning in the powertrain industry.

These will be your main responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets and collect only the necessary key information
• Summarize key information in excel format and translate this into clear executive-level PowerPoint presentations
• Act as the primary point of contact for client requests and final presentations
• Conduct in-depth market and competitor research and analysis to define the positioning of our client's products against other market leaders.
• Perform competitor analyses and compare positioning against our client's products.
• Maintain daily newsfeed updates on industry trends

What do we expect from you?

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant technical backgrounds
• Direct experience or good technical knowledge of Engines and/or Transmissions
• Mandatory experience in Market research and Data analysis or product strategy
• Good analytical skills and capability to translate data into strategic advice
• Advanced presentation skills (PPT and oral)
• Advanced Excel skills
• High proficiency in English. French/Italian/Spanish/Chinese as a plus
• Senior profile with at least 5 years of work experience
• Being able to work in a challenging and fast paced environment
• Available to travel every 6-8 weeks to the HQ in Madrid (not mandatory)
