Bertrandt AG Spain busca un Analista de Datos Senior para apoyar a un cliente en el sector de powertrain, conectando datos mecánicos con decisiones estratégicas de negocio. Se requerirán habilidades para analizar datos y presentar resultados de forma ejecutiva.

El candidato ideal debe poseer al menos 5 años de experiencia, conocimiento de motores/transmisiones y dominio avanzado de Excel y PowerPoint, con alto nivel de inglés y disponibilidad para viajar ocasionalmente a Madrid.

Formación

• Grado en Ingeniería Mecánica o antecedentes técnicos relevantes.
• Experiencia directa o buena knowledge técnica de Motores y/o Transmisiones.
• Experiencia en investigación de mercado y análisis de datos o estrategia de producto.
• Habilidades analíticas sólidas y capacidad de traducir datos en asesoramiento estratégico.
• Habilidades avanzadas de presentaciones (PowerPoint y oral).
• Alto dominio del inglés; otros idiomas son una ventaja.

Responsabilidades

• Analizar grandes conjuntos de datos y extraer la información clave necesaria.
• Resumir información en formato Excel y convertirla en presentaciones ejecutivas en PowerPoint.
• Ser el punto principal de contacto para peticiones de clientes y presentaciones finales.
• Realizar investigaciones de mercado y de la competencia para definir el posicionamiento del producto.
• Realizar análisis de la competencia y comparar el posicionamiento de los productos del cliente.
• Mantener actualizada la información de noticias de tendencias de la industria.

Your role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support one of our clients by bridging the gap between complex mechanical engineering and high-level business strategy. This role goes beyond database management — it acts as the link between engine and transmission data and the strategic decisions that drive our client’s market positioning in the powertrain industry.

These will be your main responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets and collect only the necessary key information
• Summarize key information in excel format and translate this into clear executive-level PowerPoint presentations
• Act as the primary point of contact for client requests and final presentations
• Conduct in-depth market and competitor research and analysis to define the positioning of our client’s products against other market leaders.
• Perform competitor analyses and compare positioning against our client’s products.
• Maintain daily newsfeed updates on industry trends

What do we expect from you?

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant technical backgrounds
• Direct experience or good technical knowledge of Engines and/or Transmissions
• Mandatory experience in Market research and Data analysis or product strategy
• Good analytical skills and capability to translate data into strategic advice
• Advanced presentation skills (PPT and oral)
• Advanced Excel skills
• High proficiency in English. French/Italian/Spanish/Chinese as a plus
• Senior profile with at least 5 years of work experience
• Being able to work in a challenging and fast paced environment
• Available to travel every 6-8 weeks to the HQ in Madrid (not mandatory)
