Zooplus, a leading pet e-commerce company, invites a Senior Customer Account Software Engineer to join our Madrid-focused team. You will own backend services with Java Spring and develop frontend components with React/TypeScript for European customer accounts.

Work in a collaborative Agile environment, contribute to design, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD, and help maintain high standards for performance and maintainability across platforms.

Formación

• Experience with Spring Boot 3+ and related data, security, cache, cloud, and AOP.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Familiarity with Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Optimizely, and Sentry.
• Knowledge of Keycloak 25+.
• Proficiency with Jira, Bitbucket, and SonarQube.

Job Description

We, the Customer Account team at Zooplus, are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to build applications that manage the customer profile (login, registration, account management, preferences) across Europe.

You will join a collaborative Agile team and participate in the full software development lifecycle—from concept and design to implementation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using modern Java technologies
• Develop and maintain frontend components using React, Typescript
• Collaborate with Product Owners and team members to design solutions that meet business needs
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/deployment processes
• Set and maintain high standards for code quality, system performance, and maintainability.
