Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Sr CRA (Level I/II) in Spain to monitor investigator sites using risk-based methods, perform data quality checks, and ensure protocol alignment through on-site and remote activities.

The role requires strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, efficient document management, and collaboration with the Clinical Team Manager. Expect significant travel and close coordination with study sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or RN certification.
• 2+ years of clinical research monitoring experience.
• Valid driver's license where applicable.
• Equivalency may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitors investigator sites using a risk-based monitoring approach and conducts RCAs to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Performs data checks (SDR/SDV/CRF) during on-site and remote monitoring and ensures timely documentation.
• Maintains site communications, supports investigator payments, and escalates issues to clinical management.
• Tracks trial status, updates CTMS, and provides progress reports to the Clinical Team Manager.
• Ensures essential documents comply with ICH-GCP and project specifications.
• Participates in investigator meetings and site initiation activities; supports trial close-out and material retrieval.

Education

Bachelor's degree in life sciences

Registered Nursing certification

2+ years as clinical research monitor
