Bunge is seeking a highly motivated Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Data Platform team in Sant Just Desvern, near Barcelona. You will design and implement cloud data solutions across Google Cloud, Terraform IaC, and CI/CD pipelines with a global scope.

Collaborate with DevOps and Data teams to build scalable, observable platforms, ensure security, and drive cloud modernization. Ideal candidates have hands-on GCP experience, Terraform, Kubernetes, and strong scripting skills.

Formación

• Postgraduate degree in STEM field.
• 5+ years of DevOps or Data Engineer experience.
• Hands-on experience with major public cloud services (GCP).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Terraform IaC experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of data platforms and lakehouse concepts.
• Strong scripting experience (Python, Bash).

Responsabilidades

• Consult with the Data Platform team to enable Data Platform foundations and new data products.
• Collaborate with Cloud CoE, DevOps CoE, Data Engineers and Data Scientists to build automated solutions (CI/CD, data pipelines, data quality, observability, deployment infrastructure on GCP).
• Develop and maintain IaC templates using Terraform to provision resources and ensure consistency across cloud use cases.
• Lead architecture and maintenance of cloud platform configurations (ingestion pipelines, lake-house architecture, observability tools) with secure integration.
• Design and implement platform PKI and observability dashboards using cloud-native tools, ensuring high availability with DR and backup plans.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and DevOps practices; provide improvement recommendations.
• Mentor and coach other DevOps/Cloud Engineers on automation and cloud standards.
• Foster a culture of reuse, scalability, and Platform Engineering mindset.
