MediaMarkt España seeks an experienced data/IT professional to join Corporate Stock Valuation in the Corporate Services platform. You will migrate stock valuation from Teradata to Google Cloud and develop financial simulations, contributing to accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

You will work in an agile environment, using DevOps practices and cross-functional collaboration with Product Owners, Finance and Tech teams.

Formación

• Degree in IT or business administration or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in an engineering/technology role in agile product environments (Scrum/Kanban)
• Strong knowledge of BigQuery SQL and GCP services including Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub
• Proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC tools, version control (Git) and testing
• Experience with data migration/integration from Teradata to BigQuery
• Knowledge of Python/Java/Perl and Dataform is desirable
• Strong communication skills and teamwork; fluent in English & German

Responsabilidades

• Migration of stock valuation from Teradata to Google Cloud (BigQuery) and further development/optimization in GCP
• Development of financial simulations for major business incidents
• Continuous improvement of these solutions
• Conduct code reviews and support team members
• Partner with Product Owners and Finance/Accounting to translate business needs into reliable solutions
• Cross-functional collaboration to improve development processes
