ADYD Group is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with extensive Oil & Gas experience to lead civil and structural design on large projects in Spain. You will perform calculations, review geotechnical reports, prepare requisitions, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate holds a BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering, 10+ years in Oil & Gas, fluent in Spanish and English, strong organizing and communication skills, and a valid work permit

Formación

• BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of Oil & Gas project experience.
• Excellent command of Spanish and English.
• Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of Spanish and international codes (EHE, EuroCodes, AISC, ACI).
• MS Office proficiency required.
• Valid permit to live and work in Spain.

Responsabilidades

• Perform senior civil engineer duties on large/complex projects including green-field and brown-field work.
• Carry out civil/structural calculations (foundation, piling, earthworks, retaining walls, steel structures, blast resistant buildings).
• Interpret geotechnical reports and coordinate with civil/structural teams.
• Prepare contract requisitions and job specifications for civil/structural work.
• Review and approve steel and precast concrete shop drawings.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and ensure compliance with project specs.
• Identify potential changes and prepare manhour estimates for contracts.
• Advise leaders on delays, issues, and proposed corrective actions.
• Liaise with consultants and field teams; address site queries during construction.
• Provide guidance and training to junior engineers.

We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with extensive experience in the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industry.

• Perform the function of Senior Civil Engineer on large or complex projects, including green-field projects and brown-field ones.
• Perform structural and civil calculations like foundation calculations, piling, earthworks, retaining walls, dynamic calculations, steel structures, blast resistant buildings, etc
• Interpretation of geotechnical reports
• Prepare contract requisitions for civil and structural work on assigned projects
• Prepare Job Specifications for civil and structural work on assigned projects
• Check, comment and approval of steel shop drawings.
• Check, comment and approval of precast concrete shop drawings.
• Co-ordination with the civil / structural team and also with other teams of different disciplines
• Ensure that all civil / structural engineering works on assigned projects is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Project specifications
• Identify circumstances considered likely to result in contract changes and prepares manhour estimates to support contract changes.
• Advise the Leader Civil Engineer and Engineering Manager of any slippages and their causes and proposed corrective action including any technical problems and unresolved differences with other groups
• Liaise with specialist consultants appointed to support the Civil Engineering, Design Group and construction personnel and addresses site queries during construction
• Carry out periodic inspection of civil and structural work during construction to ensure correct interpretation of designs and issues completion certificates for structural work carried out on assigned projects
• Provide guidance and training to junior and trainee engineers
• Keep abreast of development in the civil and structural engineering field
• Perform such duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Leader Civil Engineer and Engineering Manager

Qualifications:

• BSc (Civil Engineering) / BEng (Civil)
• More than 10 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas Projects (design and calculation)
• Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
• Good organization, written and oral skills
• Knowledge of Spanish and International Standards and Codes (EHE, CTE, EAE, EuroCodes, AISC, ACI, etc.)
• Advanced user of MS Office
• Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required
