Pasiona Consulting Sl en Barcelona busca un Senior Cisco SD-WAN & Network Specialist para unirse a Global WAN Services. Liderarás proyectos de construcción y operaciones de red a escala global, desde Hong Kong hasta Colombia, trabajando en un marco de servicio gestionado.

Trabajarás con un equipo distribuido y tendrás acceso administrativo para cambios críticos. Se exige experiencia avanzada en Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), enrutamiento dinámico y seguridad de segmentación.

Qualifications

• Experiencia senior en IT de red empresarial (6+ años).
• Experiencia demostrable en diseño, configuración y resolución de Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela).
• Conocimientos avanzados en BGP/OSPF y segmentación multi-VRF.

Responsibilities

• Build & Project Execution: Onboarding de entidades y sitios globales, acuerdos y data centers.
• Interconectividad avanzada: Diseñar y aplicar segmentación, VRF y multi-cloud.
• Ingeniería de tráfico: Diseñar topologías de enrutamiento dinámico y alta disponibilidad.

Descripción del puesto / Funciones

As a Senior Cisco SD-WAN & Network Specialist within our Global WAN Services team, you will be responsible for connecting corporate entities, regional offices, and data centers across the globe - spanning from Hong Kong to Colombia.

You will join an agile, multicultural team of 8 engineers distributed internationally across Malaysia, Europe, and Mexico. Operating within a managed service framework, you will act as a high-level technical subject matter expert for both complex Build projects (integrations, office rollouts, data center setups) and Tier-3 Run operations. You will hold administrative/write access across critical fabrics to perform deep-dive troubleshooting and execute advanced configuration changes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build & Project Execution

• Global Entity & Site Onboarding: Drive end-to-end WAN build activities for new site turn-ups, corporate acquisitions, office expansions, and data center integrations across international regions.
• Complex Interconnectivity: Collaborate closely with local LAN and Data Center engineering teams to design and implement secure network segmentation, VRF mapping, and multi-cloud interconnectivity.
• Traffic Engineering & Routing: Design and deploy robust dynamic routing topologies over diverse WAN transports to ensure optimal path selection, application delivery, and high availability.

2. Advanced Run & L3 Escalation

• Deep-Dive Troubleshooting: Serve as the senior escalation point for complex network incidents, performance bottlenecks, routing loops, or failover issues that exceed L1/L2 Managed Service Provider (MSP) capabilities.
• Direct Fabric Administration: Utilize direct write/admin access in regional fabrics to validate, test, and execute critical network changes when required.
• Capacity & Service Optimization: Oversee WAN bandwidth evolutions, policy fine-tuning, and continuous infrastructure performance enhancements.

3. Vendor Governance & Autonomous Ownership

• Autonomous Delivery: Independently manage assigned projects and client requests from initial requirement gathering through to execution, proactively mitigating risks and escalating to leadership only when blocked.
• Stakeholder & MSP Engagement: Act as a technical liaison between internal business units, cross-functional IT teams, and external Managed Service Providers.

Requisitos mínimos

• Experience Level:
• Senior Tier: 6+ years of experience in enterprise IT network engineering.
• Confirmed Tier: ~5 years of experience with demonstrated advanced technical expertise.
• Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) Expertise: Mandatory hands-on experience designing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco Viptela fabrics (vManage, vSmart, vBond, edge devices).
• Note: Candidates whose SD-WAN background is strictly limited to Cisco Meraki or basic cloud SD-WAN will not be considered due to the complexity of our architecture.
• Advanced Routing Protocols: Expert-level mastery of BGP and OSPF , multi-VRF segmentation, dynamic routing, and complex overlay/underlay architectures.
• Cross-Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of LAN topologies, Data Center interconnects, and enterprise security segmentation.
