Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Senior Buyer to drive procurement excellence for complex technical projects within Fire, Security, and Building Management Systems.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, and Project Management to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and optimize commercial performance for critical projects. In this fast-paced, project-driven role, you will proactively identify sourcing alternatives, negotiate terms, and ensure successful project

Qualifications

• Strong experience in project procurement and subcontractor management.
• Ability to analyze technical scopes and supplier proposals.
• Excellent negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
• Experience in technical, engineering, installation, or project-based environments.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement and sourcing for technical projects.
• Identify and negotiate with subcontractors, installers, and suppliers.
• Handle RFQs, evaluations, supplier comparisons, and commercial terms.
• Mitigate commercial, contractual, and supply-chain risks.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering and Operations.
