Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is looking for a Sr Business Intelligence and Data Analyst to design scalable business intelligence solutions and data architectures. This role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making across the EMEA commercial organization, primarily focusing on Power BI reporting and data insights. The ideal candidate has a B.Sc./M.Sc. in a related field, strong experience with Power BI, SQL, and data architecture principles. The position is based in Barcelona, Spain, or Prague, Czech Republic.

Formación

• Strong experience with Power BI, especially in data modeling and dashboard design.

• Experience integrating data from CRM and ERP systems.

About the Role

The Sr Business Intelligence and Data Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and governing scalable business intelligence solutions and data architectures. The role enables data‑driven decision‑making across the EMEA commercial organization by transforming complex, multi‑source data into actionable insights through robust data models, optimized pipelines, and Power BI reporting.

This position reports to the Head of Commercial Excellence and Business Analytics (EMEA) and is part of the EMEA Sales Operation and Enablement team and will be in Barcelona (Spain) or Prague (Czech Republic) as an on‑site role.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end Power BI solutions, including robust data models, interactive dashboards, and scalable semantic layers (such as star schemas and data marts).
• Build and optimize high‑performance data architectures by integrating multiple enterprise sources (ERP, CRM, CPQ) and developing efficient SQL queries.
• Establish and govern KPI frameworks to ensure consistency, reliability, and alignment across business reporting.
• Drive data quality, governance, and best practices in data transformation, normalization, documentation, and access control.
• Perform advanced analytics, including exploratory data analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling to support sales and performance tracking.

Essential Requirements

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard design).
• Solid knowledge of data architecture principles (data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing).
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
• Experience integrating data from CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ERP, and other enterprise systems.

Prefered Experience

• Sales Operations, preferably in Sanitary/Pharmaceutical sector.
• Lean Change Management models, data‑driven transformation, and continuous improvement methodologies in fast‑paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities.
• Experience with Lean or data‑driven transformation methodologies.

Travel & Physical Requirements

• Travel up to 10 %.
