A leading financial technology company is seeking a Senior Business Developer for the French market. The role involves converting leads into customers, managing the sales cycle, and building strategic relationships with SMBs. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience in SaaS or Fintech, is result-driven, and possesses excellent communication skills in French and English. This role will be based in our new offices in Barcelona.

Senior Business Developer France at Qonto

As a Senior Business Developer for the French market, your mission is to convert leads into customers. You will join an international inbound team hub composed of 4 markets: France, Italy, Spain and Germany. The whole team is based in our brand new offices near Catalunya in Barcelona!

What you will do
  • Convert inbound leads into Qonto customers by managing the full sales cycle for small businesses (10‑50 employees)
  • Build strategic relationships with 15‑25 qualified leads daily, understanding their complex business challenges to create lasting partnerships
  • Navigate multi‑stakeholder sales cycles, engaging with founders, CFOs, and operational leaders
  • Help reshape the SMB sales process by bringing your experience and collaborating with the team to continuously improve our approach and customer experience

About You
  • Experience: You have at least 4 years of experience in a B2B Sales role, ideally in a scale‑up/SaaS industry similar to our environment (Fintech)

  • Consultative approach: You know how to understand the complex needs of SMBs and demonstrate the value of our product in a personalized way
  • Communication: Your excellent command of French and English allows you to adapt to a diverse audience including C‑levels
