Roche Digital Technology is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs with digital solutions in a complex pharma environment. You will lead analysis workstreams, collaborate with global partners, and shape long-term product roadmaps using systems thinking.

Hybrid work with two days in offices per week, opportunities to deploy AI-enabled prototyping, and a culture that values clear communication and stakeholder alignment across the enterprise.

Formación

• 5+ years of Business Analysis/Consultancy experience, preferred with life sciences/pharma R&D or Commercial
• Proven experience independently managing end-to-end BA workstreams, navigating ambiguous requirements
• Demonstrated experience translating requirements into strategic implementation plans aligning with business objectives
• Proven track record of recommending optimal technology solutions for sustainable business transformation
• Ability to apply systems thinking to provide holistic enterprise-wide consulting advice
• Willingness to learn or actively use AI for rapid prototyping with business stakeholders

Within the Pharma Organisation, Medical Affairs serves as the bridge between clinical development and the commercialization of medicines. As an IT Business Analyst in this space, you will support the digital transformation of how scientific evidence is generated, managed, and communicated to the global medical community.

The opportunity:

Oversees initiatives or streams with autonomy, coordinating complexity and scale. Defines and leads analysis efforts across highly ambiguous spaces, navigates complex frameworks, and delegates work while managing the quality of business analysis content.

• Spearheads investigation into complex operational issues, defining core problem boundaries and executing thorough root‑cause analyses across organizational structures. Mitigates scope expansion, balances evolving demands, and maintains complete accountability for analytical outputs to ensure harmony with enterprise targets
• Pinpoints and collaborates with crucial enterprise partners, serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership while guiding teams through effective alignment strategies
• Delivers substantial business value by aligning technical solutions with enterprise strategy, conducting rigorous option evaluations, risk assessments, and framing long‑term product roadmaps
• Operates at the product family tier, navigating ambiguous requirements in fluid settings while using systems thinking to assess global domain implications
• Leverages comprehensive domain mastery to design innovative strategies, fostering engineering excellence and deploying AI tools alongside business partners for rapid prototyping
• Acts as a principal Subject Matter Expert bridging technical execution with functional workflows, retaining deep understanding of end‑to‑end data architectures and downstream system integrations

Who you are:

• 5+ years of Business Analysis / Consultancy experience, preferred with at least 3+ years in life sciences/pharma R&D or Commercial
• Proven experience independently managing end‑to‑end BA workstreams, navigating ambiguous requirements, and evaluating strategic solution options
• Demonstrated experience in leading initiatives and translating requirements into strategic implementation plans that align with overall business objectives
• Proven track record of recommending optimal technology solutions for sustainable business transformation and working on unusually complex problems with highly innovative solutions
• Ability to apply systems thinking to provide holistic and enterprise‑wide consulting advice
• Advanced knowledge of Business Analysis/Consultancy concepts and practices
• Strong proficiency in requirements elicitation and documentation, ensuring comprehensive requirements traceability and consistent change management
• Ability to independently apply tools, principles, concepts, and techniques related to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis
• Is willing to learn or is already actively using AI for rapid prototyping with business stakeholders
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to challenge the status quo and propose innovative process improvements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of prioritizing effectively and maintaining a "bigger picture" view of how technical components fit organizational goals
