EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior BPM Engineer in Madrid city center for a hybrid role. You will design and develop scalable solutions using Flowable and Camunda within Java applications, focusing on process automation for a private banking client.

You will build RESTful services in Spring Boot, integrate with Kafka and Kubernetes, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and data modeling. English fluency is required for global collaboration and client interactions.

Qualifications

• Proven software development experience with Java.
• Strong API development background and Flowable/Camunda knowledge.
• Experience with Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software delivery.
• Strong SQL database design and querying skills.
• Fluent English in business and technical contexts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain Java-based applications using Flowable BPM.
• Design API interfaces to integrate with internal and external systems.
• Leverage Kafka for real-time data processing and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests and deployments.
• Design and manage SQL databases to support BPM processes.
• Build RESTful APIs in Spring Boot for Flowable engines and tasks.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Document development processes and architectural decisions.
