Gaming Innovation Group is seeking a Senior Big Data Engineer to join the Data department in Barcelona. You will own design, development and support of major realtime big data projects, promoting best practices and robust solutions across data platforms.

You will design ETL processes, work with Spark, Kafka, NiFi and ClickHouse, and ensure data quality and scalable systems in a hybrid work environment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected.

Formación

• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, NiFi, and ClickHouse.
• Strong data modelling and schema design skills.
• Proficient in Python and/or Java and SQL.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and data integrations.
• Handle large-scale data processing with robust, optimized code.
• Develop high-performance services for storage and analysis of big data.
• Implement data validation and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues quickly.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to stay ahead.
