Job summary

Quintall is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join the IT Digital Marketing team in Barcelona. You will design, build, and improve backend services, APIs, and databases to support our digital marketing and sales capabilities.

You will work in an international Agile team, own backend solutions, contribute to architecture standards, and collaborate with frontend, product, and platform teams across countries.

Qualifications

• Extensive backend or software engineering experience.
• Strong programming with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience designing APIs (REST) and working with relational databases.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Agile mindset with Scrum experience.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical topics with stakeholders in an international environment.
• Very good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and databases for digital products.
• Develop business logic and data access layers with focus on scalability and security.
• Design and implement integrations with external platforms and services.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment processes, and quality gates.
• Promote engineering practices like code reviews, versioning, and observability.
• Participate in Agile team activities and contribute to planning and delivery.
• Produce and maintain architecture decisions, API specs, and runbooks.
• Analyze and resolve second-level support cases and root-cause issues.
