ING España Portugal is seeking a Software Backend Engineer in Valencia, Spain to design, develop and test backend components, ensuring performance and quality. You will contribute to the squad with strong Java/Spring expertise, REST APIs, and DevOps awareness, while collaborating across teams.

Key responsibilities include coding, refining stories, environments management, releases, and monitoring. Excellent English communication is essential for this role.

• Essential: Backend Java stack with REST APIs development
• Essential: Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, CORE, Security, DI)
• Essential: Microservices with hexagonal architecture and API composition
• Essential: Design Patterns, SOLID, Clean Code
• Essential: Testing: unit/integration; JUnit; Mockito; Wiremock
