Job summary

Hyphen is seeking a Senior Architect to lead architectural development across project stages, combining team coordination with hands-on design and technical delivery in Madrid.

You will work on data centres and other demanding projects, guiding colleagues, coordinating multi-disciplinary inputs, and ensuring quality through design reviews and client collaboration. This role emphasizes BIM leadership and strong communication with international teams.

Qualifications

• A degree in Architecture is required.
• At least five years of experience leading large-scale architectural projects.
• Experience managing teams and coordinating complex technical work.
• Advanced Revit proficiency, assessed through a technical test.
• C1 English for international collaboration and client communication.
• Experience with permitting and regulatory documentation.

Your role

You will lead architectural development across project stages, combining team coordination with hands-on design and technical delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and reviewing designs, drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Coordinating architectural, structural, civil and building services inputs.
• Guiding colleagues, reviewing their work and supporting their development.
• Leading Revit model coordination and resolving design interfaces.
• Preparing and overseeing planning and permit submissions.
