Proton in Barcelona is seeking a senior Android engineer to build privacy‑first products across Proton Pass, Payments, and VPN. You’ll develop high‑quality Android experiences using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, collaborating with product, design, and cross‑team engineers to ship features with end‑to‑end ownership.

Based in our Barcelona office, you’ll join one of several high‑impact product teams across Proton Pass, Payments, and Proton VPN, helping build privacy‑first products used by millions around the world. From secure password management and identity protection to encrypted financial tools and internet freedom products that help users bypass censorship and surveillance, you’ll work on technically ambitious products with real‑world impact. As a senior engineer, you’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and engineers across Proton to build and ship high‑quality Android experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and an increasingly shared Rust core, helping define what "great" looks like for privacy‑focused consumer products at scale.

60,000 – 110,000 EUR gross annually. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and previous experience.
