MindMatch busca un Desarrollador Android Senior en la región de Alcobendas, Madrid, para diseñar y mantener apps nativas de alto rendimiento con Kotlin. El rol requiere experiencia sólida en MVVM, rendimiento y seguridad, y trabajo colaborativo con equipos multifuncionales.

Se valorará experiencia en proyectos grandes y enfoque en privacidad de usuario. Se ofrece flexibilidad horaria y posibilidad de trabajo parcial en remoto, con salario competitivo acorde a la experiencia.

Formación

• 5 años de experiencia en desarrollo Android.
• Experiencia demostrada en al menos dos grandes apps nativas Android.
• Dominio de Kotlin y Android SDKs.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, construir y mantener aplicaciones Android avanzadas usando Kotlin.
• Implementar diseños UX/UI y mejorar experiencia de usuario y accesibilidad.
• Colaborar con product managers y diseñadores para definir requerimientos y alcance.
• Integrar con sistemas back-end usando herramientas y arquitecturas Android modernas.
• Trabajar en características que mejoren la privacidad y seguridad de los usuarios.
• Depurar, perfilar y optimizar rendimiento en múltiples dispositivos Android.
• Realizar revisiones de código y mantener código limpio y bien documentado.
• Permanecer actualizado sobre Android SDK, bibliotecas y buenas prácticas.

Job Description

An Android Developer is a key member of the technology team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure and high-quality applications for the Android platform. This includes writing clean and efficient Kotlin code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features, troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance, and ensuring a seamless and privacy-focused user experience. Android Developers are also expected to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in Android development to continuously improve code quality and development efficiency.

Qualified candidates for this role bring deep expertise in native Android development, particularly in Kotlin, and have contributed to the successful delivery of large-scale applications. A strong grasp of mobile architecture patterns (such as MVVM), threading, and memory management is essential, along with experience handling complex data structures and implementing security and privacy best practices. The ideal candidate is a strong team player, comfortable collaborating across disciplines, and has excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

What you will do:

• Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin.
• Implement UX/UI designs and contribute to improving user experience and accessibility.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define requirements and scope.
• Integrate with back-end systems and services using modern Android tools and architectures.
• Work on features that enhance user privacy, security, and usability (e.g., autofill improvements, phishing & malware protection).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across a wide range of Android devices.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Stay informed about Android SDK updates, libraries, and development best practices.
• Write unit and UI tests to ensure stability and prevent regressions.

Requirements and experience:

• 5 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proven experience working on at least two large native Android applications.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and familiarity with Android SDKs and development tools.
• Deep understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM, threading models, and memory management on Android.
• Experience with mobile app performance tuning, profiling, and security best practices.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
• Comfortable using Git or other version control systems.
• Ability to translate both quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful UX improvements.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of complex problems.
