Job summary

Airalo is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to shape data modeling and governance, transforming first- and third-party data into trusted datasets powering product, marketing, finance, and commercial decisions for 30+ million users. You’ll own finance-revenue data models and collaborate across teams to ensure production-grade analytics on a scalable platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or analytics roles with significant modeling responsibilities
• Hands-on experience building finance and/or revenue data models including order-to-revenue or billing-to-revenue pipelines
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills with robust, scalable dimensional models
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (BigQuery) and data orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster
• Experience collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into data products
• Experience with modern BI platforms and semantic layers (LightDash a plus)
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to own end-to-end production work

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data models using dbt in a cloud data warehouse
• Build and maintain finance and revenue data models including order-to-revenue workflows and revenue recognition logic
• Own the order-to-revenue pipeline with handling of refunds, currency conversion and edge cases
• Collaborate with analytics engineers and data engineers to scale ELT workflows for reliable reporting
• Partner with Finance and ERP integrator to validate data models across legacy and new ERP/EPM platforms
• Implement testing, documentation, and monitoring for data quality and governance
• Translate complex business questions into scalable data artifacts
• Drive adoption of self-service analytics with business users
• Contribute to evolving the modern data stack with new tools and approaches
