Job summary

European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH in Vitoria, Spain, seeks an experienced aircraft maintenance technician to work on B1/B2 scope tasks during ground time. You will perform repairs, install and test systems, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The ideal candidate holds an EASA Part 66 AML CAT B1 and/or B2 license with at least 5 years in aircraft maintenance, including wide-body experience. Fluency in English and Spanish, shift work willingness, and AOG support are required.

Qualifications

Completed vocational training in aircraft maintenance or a related field.
Valid EASA Part 66 AML CAT B1 and/or B2 license.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance.
Experience on wide-body aircraft is required.

Responsibilities

Perform general repair and maintenance tasks on aircraft systems within CAT B1 (mechanical) and CAT B2 (avionics).
Troubleshoot, analyze faults, and isolate issues via logs and performance data; repair or replace components.
Ensure operability of airframe, engines, landing gear, hydraulics, de-icing (B1) or avionics, electrical, radar, autopilot (B2).
Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, sensors, and control systems; configure aeronautical software.
Maintain certification and release to service for assigned type ratings.
Report and document all maintenance activities; support SMS procedures.
