Datadog is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on AI-powered workflows within Datadog Notebooks. You will own platforms for analysis workflows and context discovery, collaborating with product and design to deliver trustworthy, explainable experiences powered by AI.

This role combines product intuition with strong engineering leadership to impact customer outcomes. You will work on production backend services, join cross-functional teams, and help Datadog scale AI capabilities across

Formación

• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering production AI-powered products with LLM technologies.
• Strong product mindset; connect technical decisions to customer outcomes and business impact.
• Experience building reliable systems that manage model non-determinism via evaluation frameworks and testing.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and delivery of AI-powered product experiences for Notebooks and adjacent surfaces.
• Develop systems that combine deterministic product capabilities with LLM-powered experiences to deliver trustworthy outcomes.
• Partner with Product to translate customer problems and roadmap goals into concrete technical decisions.
• Build experiences that enable Datadog capabilities to operate within third-party AI platforms and environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship and establish AI engineering best practices.
• Own production systems and be on-call for critical backend services.
