Agilent Technologies is seeking a Senior AI Data Engineer to lead data products and retrieval foundations for enterprise AI. You will shape governance, pipelines, and metadata while collaborating with AI engineers, domain experts, and IT teams.

You will work across structured and unstructured data, embeddings, and content classification to ensure AI-ready data assets and scalable data infrastructure.

Formación

• Strong data engineering experience building AI-ready data products, not just warehouse tables and dashboards.
• Hands-on familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, vector databases, graph stores, and operating under data contracts, lineage, and certification requirements.
• Experience with RAG foundations, including chunking, embedding, hybrid retrieval, and understanding how retrieval quality impacts agent/ AI behavior and outcomes.
• A disposition to work within a business domain, partnering with data stewards and subject matter experts to understand the meaning behind the data.
• An instinct to build for reuse, creating assets intended for second consumers and use cases, not just the first.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain AI-ready data products and pipelines with governance, lineage, metadata, access controls.
• Design data products for reuse, treating every asset as an enterprise capability rather than a point integration.
• Establish data quality standards and model-readiness criteria for reliable AI behavior.
• Partner with data owners and stakeholders to define trusted definitions and domain data models.
• Design retrieval foundations with vector search and grounding for AI applications.
