Agilent Technologies is seeking a Senior AI Data Engineer, Data Products & RAG Foundations, to be a data engineering SME within a cross-functional AI pod. You will build data products, pipelines, metadata, and retrieval-ready assets that power AI-enabled workflows across the enterprise.

You will work with structured and unstructured data, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval foundations, while ensuring governance, quality, and reuse from day one.

Formación

• Technical Expertise: AI-ready data products, not just warehouse tables.
• Hands-on familiarity with Fabric, Snowflake, vector databases, graph stores.
• Experience with RAG foundations including embedding and hybrid retrieval.
• Domain and Product mindset; build for reuse to serve multiple use cases.
• Strong communication and influence across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity and growth mindset; stay informed on AI advances.
• Education and seniority: degree or equivalent with 8+ years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain AI-ready data products and pipelines with governance, lineage, metadata, and access controls from the start.
• Establish data quality standards, quality scoring, and model-readiness criteria.
• Partner with data owners, stewards, stakeholders, and IT to define trusted data models.
• Design retrieval foundations with structured/unstructured grounding and vector search.
• Apply AI-assisted techniques to improve quality, scalability, and discoverability of data assets.
• Design scalable ingestion, integration, and storage frameworks across cloud/on-premises.
