Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking an Accounting & Tax Compliance Senior Officer in Madrid to manage accounting documentation and tax filings for a portfolio of international clients. You will prepare financial statements, reporting packs, and coordinate with auditors and external partners.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, university studies in related fields, and strong MS Word/Excel skills. An ACCA path and continuous training opportunities are available within Alter Domus.

Qualifications

• University studies in Business Administration, Accounting, Auditing, and Finance are preferred.
• Academic training in Accounting and Taxes at CEF is highly valued.
• 5+ years of experience, with varied exposure across accounting and tax compliance.
• Intermediate English proficiency is required.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; knowledge of A3 software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting documentation for daily operations across portfolios of international clients.
• Prepare documentation for mandatory financial statements and reporting packs; liaise with auditors.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes; supervise colleagues as needed.
• Coordinate internal and external parties involved in the above tasks.
• Assist in internal controls and processes of Alter Domus.
