Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Spain (Hybrid model: 2 days remote, 3 days in office)

Contract Type: 6-month temporary contract, extendable, with the possibility of permanent employment

Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance department. The individual will be responsible for managing and supervising accounting operations, ensuring compliance with current Spanish regulations, and assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports. Advanced English proficiency is required for communication with international teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and record daily accounting transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Spanish fiscal and accounting regulations.
• Prepare tax declarations and required documentation.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
• Participate in process improvement and automation projects.
• Advise the team and management on accounting and tax matters in English as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
