What truly sets us apart are our people and the trusted partnerships we build, anchored in our values of expertise, integrity, and empowerment. We don't support the business. We shape it.

Role Overview

Allianz Group is developing the Allianz Security Operations Center (ASOC ) as an integrated capability bringing together threat intelligence, travel security, physical security, executive protection, incident response , and crisis management , with the objective of progressively building scalable 24/7 operational capacity for both man-made and natural risks. In a fast-changing and increasingly volatile environment , Allianz considers this capability a strategic imperative requiring concrete action, sustained commitment, and strong operational leadership. The ASOC will strengthen Allianz Group’s ability to anticipate, monitor, respond to, and recover from disruptions by integrating intelligence and operational capabilities and progressively expanding toward continuous, follow-the-sun coverage. It will protect Allianz personnel, physical assets, business operations, and critical functions through consistent monitoring, analysis, escalation, coordination, and reporting . The ASOC is positioned within Allianz Services and functionally reports into Corporate Security’s Group Protection and Resilience Team. Reporting to the ASOC Intelligence Lead, the ASOC Intelligence Analyst will contribute to the intelligence cycle , from planning, collection, processing, and analysis to production and dissemination of intelligence products that help protect Allianz personnel, physical assets, operations, and reputation. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical judgement, OSINT capability, investigative curiosity, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable intelligence for the operational team of the ASOC and other internal stakeholders. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset , including the ability to leverage AI-enabled tools, automation, and intelligence platforms.

What You Do
  • Maintain strong awareness and understanding of the threat landscape relevant to Allianz, including geopolitical, security, hybrid, natural and other business-risk developments.
  • Monitor open-source, vendor intelligence, including tools such as Everbridge, Seerist, and comparable solutions, to identify risks to business operations across Allianz and support timely escalation where required.
  • Collaborate closely with ASOC teams across multiple hubs to support shared objectives and meet performance expectations.
  • Conduct comprehensive threat assessments for Allianz personnel, assets, operations, travel, and special events, translating findings into actionable assessments.
  • Produce strategic and tactical intelligence reports that deliver proactive, in-depth analysis and actionable insight to stakeholders, enabling them to drive appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Deliver situational awareness reporting to support operational response to threats, incidents and crisis.
  • Investigate threat actors and assess their tactics, techniques, and procedures and potential implications for Allianz Group.
  • Implement protective intelligence gathering, assessment, dissemination, source management, and reporting protocols to strengthen ASOC intelligence delivery.
  • Manage intelligence requirements, centralize relevant sources, and ensure comprehensive intelligence coverage aligned with business priorities and stakeholder needs.
  • Support cross-functional intelligence projects around high-impact events and emerging threats, managing complex priorities with autonomy, accuracy, and sound judgement.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in international relations, security studies, political science, risk management, or a related field, and/or equivalent experience gained in corporate security, government, or comparable intelligence environments.
  • Approximately 4–5 years of experience in intelligence collection, analysis, and production, with a focus on business risk, protective security, geopolitical risk, and threat actor assessment.
  • Proficiency in OSINT sources, methods, tools, social media monitoring, and deep and dark web sources.
  • Hands-on experience with intelligence, risk monitoring, alerting, travel security, crisis response, or mass notification platforms such as Everbridge, Seerist, Dataminr and comparable vendor tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled tools responsibly to accelerate research, improve collection and triage, support analytical workflows, summarise large volumes of information, and improve the quality and timeliness of intelligence outputs.
  • Experience investigating threat actors and contributing to tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence products oriented to decision and action.
  • Excellent ability to deliver verbal and written briefings to stakeholders, customize intelligence outputs to stakeholder needs, and build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with fluency in at least one other language.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Keen interest in developing and learning new skills, with the ability to innovate and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within own area of work.
Other Requirements
  • Ability to work independently while remaining closely aligned with ASOC Intelligence Lead, ASOC Operational team, Protection & Resilience, cyber security teams and relevant business stakeholders.
  • Strong judgement, discretion, and intellectual rigor when handling sensitive sources, ambiguous information, fast-moving events, incomplete reporting, or unverified information.
  • Ability to identify intelligence gaps, challenge assumptions constructively, and produce balanced, evidence-based, and decision-relevant assessments.
  • Ability to operate professionally in a global, multicultural environment and adapt communication style to different stakeholders and levels of seniority.
