Wiz is seeking a Security Engineer for Product & Production Infrastructure to perform security reviews, vulnerability management, and detection/response in cloud-native environments. You will collaborate with software development and DevOps teams to secure Wiz’s products, CI/CD and production infrastructure, while helping shape the product roadmap using Wiz-for-Wiz.

You will build scalable security tooling, drive threat modeling, and partner with engineering to deliver secure-by-design solutions

Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
Experience with AWS security (or Azure/GCP) and cloud native Kubernetes services (EKS/GKE/AKS).
Experience leading security reviews, threat modeling, and translating findings into actionable controls.
Hands-on IaC experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, Pulumi).
Strong understanding of web app security basics (OWASP).
Experience with automation and tooling development (Python/Go/Shell).

Responsabilités

Lead threat modeling and security reviews across Wiz's products and cloud infrastructure.
Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling to shift left security into workflows.
Design secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes infrastructure.
Drive vulnerability management and remediation, and implement preventative controls.
Extend detection and response capabilities to identify malicious activity and remediate incidents.
Collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver secure-by-design solutions.
