Wiz is seeking a Security Engineer for Product & Production Infrastructure to perform security reviews, vulnerability management, and detection/response in cloud-native environments. You will collaborate with software development and DevOps teams to secure Wiz’s products, CI/CD and production infrastructure, while helping shape the product roadmap using Wiz-for-Wiz.

You will build scalable security tooling, drive threat modeling, and partner with engineering to deliver secure-by-design solutions

Formación

• Minimum 7+ years in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS security (or Azure/GCP) and cloud native Kubernetes services (EKS/GKE/AKS).
• Experience leading security reviews, threat modeling, and translating findings into actionable controls.
• Hands-on IaC experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, Pulumi).
• Strong understanding of web app security basics (OWASP).
• Experience with automation and tooling development (Python/Go/Shell).

Responsabilidades

• Lead threat modeling and security reviews across Wiz's products and cloud infrastructure.
• Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling to shift left security into workflows.
• Design secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Drive vulnerability management and remediation, and implement preventative controls.
• Extend detection and response capabilities to identify malicious activity and remediate incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver secure-by-design solutions.
