Siemens Healthineers is seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Engineer focused on Network Security and Automation. Hybrid/remote in Spain with up to 80% remote. You will join a global team to protect web applications, automate tasks, and improve service scalability.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, security configuration, and collaboration with application, cloud, DevOps, and security teams to drive secure onboarding and operation excellence.

Formación

• 3 to 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, automation, or application security roles.
• Good understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, routing, proxies, load balancing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with security technologies, ideally in WAF, network security, cloud security, application security, or perimeter protection.
• Scripting or development experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience with APIs, automation workflows, reusable scripts, or technical integrations.
• Ability to analyze logs, traffic patterns, alerts, and security events to troubleshoot issues.
• Basic understanding of web app architectures and exposure, routing, and protection.
• Awareness of OWASP Top 10, API security risks, bot activity, and app-layer attacks.
• Ability to translate requirements into configurations, docs, scripts, or automation.
• Good written and spoken English.
• A proactive mindset and interest in scalable security services.

Responsabilidades

• Support and improve global web application protection services, including configuration and lifecycle activities.
• Work on issues related to HTTP/S, DNS, SSL/TLS, routing, reverse proxy, connectivity, and app exposure.
• Onboard web applications into security protection services and coordinate implementations.
• Analyze traffic, logs, alerts, and events to identify anomalies and potential attacks.
• Tune security configurations to reduce false positives while maintaining protection.
• Build scripts, tools, API integrations, templates, or automation workflows.
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, cloud, network, and cybersecurity teams.
• Escalate technical issues and support L1/L2 with guidance and knowledge base articles.
• Contribute to process improvement, standardization, automation, and operational excellence.
• Stay curious about new technologies and automation opportunities.
