The British College of Gavà invites a passionate Secondary History Teacher for maternity cover starting October 2026. The role focuses on delivering engaging History lessons, differentiating instruction, and supporting student wellbeing in a forward-thinking, internationally-minded school.

We value strong classroom management, ICT integration and collaboration with staff to maintain high standards in curriculum and assessment. This position is fixed-term and located in Barcelona, Spain.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in History or a related subject and a recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching History at secondary level.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for inspiring young people.
• Strong classroom management, organisation and communication skills.
• Ability to differentiate effectively and set high expectations for students.
