Confidential employer in Palma is seeking two experienced painters (second-class) to support construction, renovation, and maintenance projects across Mallorca. This full-time role offers a fixed-discontinuous contract for an initial six months, starting in November, with real options for extension based on workload.

The package includes a gross annual salary of €23,161.18 paid across 14 payments, with company pension contributions and seasonable bonuses as per the Balearic Islands Construction

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of professional painting experience.
• Valid Class B driving licence.
• Completion of a 20-hour occupational risk prevention course for construction.
• No formal academic qualification required.
• Certified training for working at heights is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute surface preparation and finishing work (sanding, plastering, filling fissures, primers, paints, coatings).
• Support basic masonry, refurbishment, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Prepare, organize, load/unload, and transfer tools and materials across site.
• Protect work areas and ensure clean-up after intervention.
• Follow directives of site supervisors and adhere to safety regulations.

Are you an experienced painter looking for your next professional opportunity in Palma? A local construction company is seeking two painters at the second-class level (oficial de segunda) to support construction, renovation, and maintenance projects across Mallorca. This full-time position offers a fixed-discontinuous contract for an initial six-month period, starting in November, with real options for extension based on workload.

Responsibilities

• - Executing surface preparation and finishing work, including sanding, plastering, filling small fissures, and applying primers, paints, and protective coatings.
• - Providing support in basic masonry, refurbishment, and routine building maintenance duties.
• - Preparing, organizing, loading, unloading, and transferring tools and building materials across the job site.
• - Protecting work areas prior to intervention and ensuring the thorough cleanup of sites upon completion.
• - Executing all work strictly according to the directives of site supervisors and project managers, while complying with occupational health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• - A minimum of 24 months of proven professional experience in the trade and professional category.
• - A valid Class B driving licence.
• - A completed 20-hour occupational risk prevention course for the construction sector (PRL construcción).
• - No formal academic qualification is required.
• - Certified training for working at heights and practical experience with trade-related machinery are considered valuable assets.

Employment terms

• - A gross annual salary of 23,161.18 EUR distributed across 14 payments.
• - Applicable salary bonuses and extras in accordance with the Balearic Islands Construction Collective Agreement.
• - Company contribution to the occupational pension plan.
• - Full-time working hours from Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 15:30, leaving your weekends free.
• - A 6-month contract with renewal options.
