Otto Group one.O Spain seeks an SAP technical applications specialist to manage SAP systems with the in-house SAP Basis team. You will ensure continuous operation of SAP S/4 system lines, manage interfaces and batch processing, and support upgrades while coordinating with the team.

The role invites automation and monitoring enhancements with SAP Cloud ALM. A collaborative, agile mindset and strong English communication are essential, with knowledge of Azure or Jira Boards considered a plus.

Formación

• Three+ years in technical SAP application management, support, or release management is helpful but not required for all tasks.
• Willingness to develop skills in automation & monitoring, including alerting with SAP Cloud ALM.
• Agile mindset and collaboration are core.
• Strong team spirit and proactive problem-solving are valued.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Nice to have exposure to Azure or Jira Boards.

Responsabilidades

• Take an active role in the technical application management of SAP systems with our SAP Basis team.
• Ensure continuous operation of three SAP S/4 system lines, including interface management, job monitoring and batch processing.
• Support S/4 upgrades and coordinate activities (SPDD/ SP AU) with the team.
• Contribute to data volume management and help set up RFC connections, interfaces, jobs and master data distribution.
• Help automate operational monitoring by setting up alerts and managing release cycles in ALM tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues to solve technical challenges, recover jobs, and provide data extracts via DaRT and legacy systems.

What will you do?

Your responsibilities:

• Take an active role in the technical application management of our SAP systems, working closely with our in-house SAP Basis team.
• Focus on ensuring the continuous operation of three SAP S/4 system lines, including interface management, job monitoring and batch processing.
• Support S/4 upgrades and coordinate activities (e.g., SPDD and SPAU comparison) as part of a collaborative team effort.
• Contribute to housekeeping tasks such as data volume management and help set up RFC connections, interfaces, jobs and master data distribution for our internal customers.
• Help automate operational monitoring by setting up alerts and managing release cycles in ALM tools.
• Work together with colleagues to solve technical challenges, recover jobs, and provide data extracts via DaRT and legacy systems.

What's your story?

• Above three years of experience in technical SAP application management, support, or change and release management is helpful—but not required for all tasks.
• Willingness to develop your skills in technical and operational automation & monitoring; you’ll have the chance to explore alerting with SAP Cloud ALM.
• An agile mindset is a fundamental requirement: openness to change, collaboration, and continuous learning are at the core of how we work.
• Strong team spirit, communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued.
• Good English skills, written and spoken.

Nice to have (if applicable):

• First experience with Azure or Jira Boards.
• Basic know-how of the FI module.
