Job summary

Accenture is seeking a SAP Security professional in Madrid to design, implement and govern security solutions across SAP S/4HANA environments. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.

The ideal candidate will manage security standards, SoD, access controls, audits and cloud security across on‑premise and cloud SAP landscapes, while aligning with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Security.
• Deep knowledge of SAP roles and authorizations, Fiori, SUIM, SU24, PFCG.
• Experience with GRC Access Control (ARM, ARA, BRM, EAM).
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Nice to have: SAP Cloud Identity Services, SAP BTP Security.

Responsibilities

• Participate in SAP migration, upgrade or new implementation projects.
• Manage roles, authorizations and SoD.
• Design and implement security controls in SAP S/4HANA and related systems.
• Define and govern SAP security standards aligned with corporate policies.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure proper implementation of security measures.
• Manage internal and external audits, including remediation activities.
• Implement digital identity, access management, and data protection solutions.
• Contribute to the SOC to detect and respond to threats.
• Review SAP security standards, guidelines and best practices across ABAP, JAVA, HANA and Cloud environments
• Review and assess architecture requirements and security baselines for SAP apps and platforms (on-prem and cloud)
• Support security risk identification and documentation with stakeholders
• Provide support on security topics across SAP landscapes, including status overviews and POCs.

We are looking for a professional with solid experience in SAP Security , particularly in SAP S/4HANA environments, capable of designing, implementing and governing security solutions aligned with corporate policies. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams and a proactive approach to anticipating and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in SAP migration, upgrade or new implementation projects.
• Manage roles, authorizations and segregation of duties (SoD).
• Design and implement security controls in SAP S/4HANA and related systems.
• Define and govern SAP security standards aligned with corporate policies.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure proper implementation of security measures.
• Manage internal and external audits, including remediation activities.
• Implement digital identity, access management, and data protection solutions.
• Contribute to the creation or enhancement of the Security Operations Center (SOC) to detect and respond to threats.
• Identify and review SAP security standards, guidelines and best practices aligned with industry frameworks and regulatory requirements, covering ABAP, JAVA, HANA and Cloud environments
• Review and assess architecture requirements and security baselines for SAP applications and platforms (on-premise and cloud)
• Support security risk identification and documentation, ensuring findings are properly tracked and addressed with relevant stakeholders
• Provide support on security-related topics across SAP landscapes, including status overviews and Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new applications and technologies
• The profile sought is a technical profile with knowledge on SAP security and security as a whole on a theorical level.

Technical Requirements

• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Security.
• Deep knowledge of SAP roles and authorizations , Fiori, SUIM, SU24, PFCG.
• Experience with GRC Access Control (ARM, ARA, BRM, EAM)
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Nice to have: experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services , SAP BTP Security.
