SAP Master Data Manager
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days per week on-site)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Manager to lead a key workstream within a wider Master Data Programme. The immediate focus will be on driving the consolidation, governance, and improvement of master data processes across the organisation.
This role will be central to ensuring master data supports efficient business operations, improved data quality, and future digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to define requirements, shape solutions, and lead the implementation of a robust SAP Master Data Management strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the delivery of the Master Data Programme.
• Improve and standardise master data processes across multiple business functions.
• Drive process optimisation initiatives to increase efficiency and data quality.
• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of SAP Master Data Management solutions.
• Establish master data governance principles, standards, and best practices.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to drive adoption and business alignment.
• Provide leadership and guidance on master data strategy and roadmap development.

Required Experience

• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and their relationship to master data.
• Proven experience working with SAP Master Data Management solutions.
• Experience delivering master data or data governance programmes.
• Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within cross-functional, international environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Desirable Experience

• Experience leading enterprise-wide master data transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Previous programme or project leadership experience.
