Job summary

Roche is seeking an IT Expert and Consultant for the SAP S/4HANA MDG - Material Master Data Global Template. You will drive design, implementation, and governance of the Global Template, defining standards, ensuring data quality, lineage, and metadata accuracy across the organization.

The role requires strong stakeholder collaboration, deep SAP MDG expertise, and a proven ability to enforce data governance policies to support high-quality decision-making and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business Admin, CS or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in SAP Material Master Data as IT Functional or Technical Consultant.
• At least 3 full lifecycle implementations of SAP MDG - Material Master Module.
• Experience with big data governance projects and complex data governance systems.
• Proven leadership in developing and enforcing data governance policies.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern Material Master data standards across the organization.
• Drive data quality, lineage, and metadata accuracy.
• Collaborate with Business/Product/Content owners to plan enhancements of the Global Template.
• Coordinate data migration, harmonization, and IT integration activities.
• Lead design, configuration, testing support, and requirements gathering for MDG environment.
