CNT Management Consulting AG in Barcelona, Spain, is seeking an experienced SAP MDG Developer for Data Quality Management (ABAP, BRFplus). Hybrid work model with flexible time and location enables effective work-life balance while delivering complex MDG/BRFplus projects for S/4HANA transformations.

You will design MDG DQM rules, implement BRFplus expressions, develop ABAP classes, tune CDS views, and ensure compliant deliverables with ABAP Unit tests and ATC checks.

• 5+ years hands-on ABAP Objects with experience in building classes and using ABAP development tools.
• BRFplus in practice: decision tables, expressions, and function calls into ABAP.
• MDG DQM technical knowledge including USMD* data model and BAdI implementations.
• CDS views and S/4HANA extensibility concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze the legacy rule inventory and translate it into MDG DQM rule definitions, including cases that do not map one-to-one.
• Implement validation, derivation and check logic in the MDG DQM rule repository, including BRFplus expressions and function calls backed by ABAP classes.
• Develop custom checks, derivations and validations in MDG through standard enhancement points and wire rule results into Change Request processing.
• Build and tune the CDS views and evaluation scopes that the DQM runs, and the Data Quality dashboards read from.
• Configure, schedule and performance-tune evaluation runs on production-scale master data volumes and analyze failures at code and runtime level.
• Deliver ABAP Unit tests and maintain technical documentation per rule.

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyze the legacy rule inventory and translate it into MDG DQM rule definitions, including the cases that do not map one to one.
• Implement validation, derivation and check logic in the MDG DQM rule repository, including everything that cannot be expressed declaratively: BRFplus expressions, decision tables, and function calls backed by your own ABAP classes.
• Develop custom checks, derivations and validations in MDG through the standard enhancement points (for example the MDG rule service BAdIs) and wire rule results into Change Request processing and remediation workflow.
• Build and tune the CDS views and evaluation scopes that the DQM runs, and the Data Quality dashboards read from.
• Configure, schedule and performance-tune evaluation runs on production-scale master data volumes and analyze failures at code and runtime level.
• Use rule mining as input, and be able to judge, correct and rewrite what mining proposes.

• Deliver to validated-environment standards: ABAP Unit tests, ATC-clean code, transport discipline, technical documentation per rule.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years hands-on ABAP Objects. You write and debug classes. Eclipse / ADT, ABAP Unit, ATC are daily tools, not words you have heard.
• BRFplus in practice: decision tables, expressions, and function calls into ABAP.
• MDG from the technical side: the MDG data model (USMD*), entity types, BAdI implementations, derivations and validations. UI configuration (FPM / Fiori) is a plus.
• CDS views, and ideally S/4HANA extensibility concepts (key-user versus developer extensibility, released APIs, clean core).
• At least one full MDG DQM implementation or rule migration that you built yourself, rather than specified for a development team.
• Master data domain knowledge in at least one of: business partner / customer / supplier, material, finance objects.
• Enough familiarity with Information Steward and Data Services to read existing rules, rule bindings and cleansing logic on your own.
• Fluent Business English

Additional Know- How that is highly valuable:

• Data quality scoring and KPI dashboard modelling (Fiori Elements, Analytical List Page).
• MDG Consolidation and Mass Processing, matching and best-record calculation.
• Experience in a regulated (GxP / pharma) SAP environment, including validation documentation and impact analysis.
• SAP Datasphere or SAC for downstream data quality reporting.
• Interest in project work and consulting and experience in agile Development with Client Interaction.
