Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Master Data Specialist to manage SAP master data across materials, BOMs, routings, and sourcing lists in a GMP environment. You will ensure data integrity, support MM/Planning enhancements, and drive data governance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of SAP experience, with strong Excel and reporting skills. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of SAP experience in operations, warehouse, manufacturing, or related environment.
• Advanced SAP Master Data experience in supply chain planning preferred.
• Strong SAP knowledge with MS Excel, Access, SharePoint; familiarity with TrackWise and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP master data processes: Material Master, BOMs, Routing, purchasing records, and sourcing lists.
• Support continuous improvement of SAP MM and Planning modules and data quality.
• Ensure accuracy and governance of master data in line with global standards and FDA cGMP.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvements for master data governance.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and data standards; communicate across functions.
• Prepare supply chain KPIs and ad hoc management reports; act as backup for Supply Chain Analyst.
