Westernacher Consulting in Spain is seeking a Market Unit Lead to own market success, drive strategy, sales execution, and profitable growth, while delivering projects as a Project Director or Program Manager.

You will balance 50% market leadership with 50% delivery engagement, build executive relationships, manage budgets and margins, and guide staff development across the local team; fluency in English and Spanish is essential, with willingness to travel.

Formación

• Experience in SAP consulting or similar SAP environment.
• Proven ability to define and execute go-to-market strategies.

• Lead opportunity qualification, go/no-go decisions, bid strategy and proposal governance.
• Collaborate with Practices, Consulting Units and Delivery teams to ensure commercial success and delivery excellence.
• Contribute to staffing, onboarding and development of the local Market Unit team.
• Ensure adherence to Westernacher processes, quality standards and values.

While others are hiring, we are building a team! Join our growing team in Spain as a Market Unit Lead and become part of a world‑class SAP consulting company. As Market Unit Lead for Spain, you will combine hands‑on SAP solution leadership with full ownership of Westernacher’s market success in Spain. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for driving market strategy, sales execution, and profitable growth, while also acting as a Project Director or Program Manager to ensure success of delivery projects. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, while positioning Westernacher as a leading SAP consulting partner in the Spanish market.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Market Unit strategy, sales plan, and go‑to‑market approach for Spain
• Drive business development, sales execution, partner management, and marketing activities to build a strong pipeline
• Own Market Unit profitability, including revenue targets and direct project margins
• Build and manage key customer relationships and represent Westernacher at executive level
• Lead opportunity qualification, go/no‑go decisions, bid strategy, and proposal governance
• Collaborate closely with Practices, Consulting Units, and Delivery teams to ensure commercial success and delivery excellence
• Contribute to staffing, recruitment, onboarding, and development of the local Market Unit team
• Ensure adherence to Westernacher processes, quality standards, and values

Delivery Engagement

• Take on pivotal leadership roles such as Project Director, Program Manager, ERP Practice Director, or Client Advisory/Account Management roles to ensure successful delivery of complex transformational projects.

The role combines approximately 50% market leadership and sales responsibilities with 50% delivery engagement, ensuring strong alignment between commercial success and delivery excellence.

Your Skills And Experience

• Experience in business development, sales, or market leadership roles in a SAP Consulting environment is a must
• Ability to manage revenue, margins, pipelines, and senior customer relationships
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proven experience in defining and executing go‑to‑market strategies, as well as building and growing a consulting practice
• Ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, aligning emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, machine learning) with SAP capabilities.
• Fluency in English & Spanish - both verbal and written
• Available to travel if the project requires it
