REWE digital Spain seeks an SAP Integration Expert to design and implement enterprise integration in the SAP S/4HANA and BTP environment, focusing on ABAP OO and RAP, in a hybrid Malaga office.

You will connect SAP with non-SAP systems, migrate to SAP Integration Suite, and collaborate with global SAP teams to ensure secure, scalable data exchange.

Home of IT: REWE digital Spain

For REWE digital Spain a subsidiary of the REWE Group, located at Parque Tecnológico de Andalucia (PTA) in Malaga we are looking for an SAP Integration Expert for the SAP Integration Solutions

As the central solution provider for information and telecommunications systems in REWE Digital Spain we plan, develop, configure, and operate efficient systems and applications for the REWE Group, one of the leading trade and tourism groups in Germany and Europe with around 390,000 employees. Our team of over 2,700 IT specialists sets standards for IT implementation in the retail industry and develops new technologies for the sector. Currently, we manage more than 80 logistics centers, 100 wide area network cables, and over 23,000 local network connections to ensure continuous data supply to the 32,000 scanner check-out desks in more than 7,500 stores.

The product "SAP Integration Solutions" serves the standardized, harmonized, functional integration of delivering and receiving applications/products/processes into the accounting of the Financial Core System of REWE Group. In addition to governance, quality assurance and the enablement of functional products, the focus is also on advising and coordinating the various areas involved.

What you will do

You plan and develop sophisticated, company-specific applications in the S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment based on ABAP OO programming and RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

Thanks to the networking of all SAP technology experts with our basic product SAP ERP Development, you will receive regular training and further education in the form of workshops and other in-house training courses.

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain integration solutions using SAP PI/PO, ensuring connectivity between SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Lead and participate in migration initiatives to SAP Integration Suite, applying integration best practices and modern architectures.

• Configure, manage, and optimize SAP integration technologies (ALE, DRF, RFC, SOAMANAGER, APIs, SOAP/REST services, and SNP Glue – nice to have), ensuring efficient and reliable data exchange.

• Monitor, test, and resolve integration issues using tools such as Postman and SOAP UI, providing advanced technical support and driving continuous performance improvement.

• Collaborate with business and technology teams to define integration solutions, document standards, and ensure compliance with best practices for security, quality, and governance.

What you will bring

• Proven expertise in SAP PI/PO, including extensive experience designing, implementing, supporting, and migrating integration interfaces to SAP Integration Suite.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP integration technologies and frameworks, including ALE, DRF, RFC, SOAMANAGER, and other key components supporting system-to-system integration scenarios.

• Experience designing, publishing, and consuming web services, with a solid understanding of API-based integrations and the SAP Business Accelerator Hub.

• Strong technical understanding of API management concepts, architectures, and best practices, with hands-on experience using API testing and monitoring tools such as Postman and SOAP UI.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues, optimize interface performance, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across business and technical domains.

• Solid understanding of modern integration patterns, service-oriented architectures, and hybrid landscapes connecting SAP and non-SAP applications.

• It is a necessary condition to live in Spain and work in our office in Malaga regularly (hybrid).

• Nice to have experience implementing and operating SNP Glue as an enterprise integration solution, ensuring reliable and scalable data exchange across systems.
