Harrington Boyd, on behalf of a global life sciences company, seeks an SAP IBP Consultant to join their Barcelona team on a permanent basis. The role offers a hybrid arrangement with 2–3 days per week from the home office.

Responsibilities include leading SAP IBP design and configuration, translating business needs into scalable IBP solutions, and overseeing end-to-end implementation, data modelling, and governance across the supply chain, finance, and operations.

Formación

• Minimum 7 years with SAP, preferably SAP Supply Chain Planning.
• Strong knowledge of SAP IBP, APO, F2PL, PPDS or ePPDS.
• Experience on at least one S/4HANA implementation.
• Experience in an international environment and life sciences/manufacturing sector.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication; English fluency; Spanish a plus.

Harrington Boyd are currently working with a global life sciences company who are searching for an SAP IBP Consultant to join their team in Barcelona on a permanent basis! This position will offer hybrid working, with the opportunity to work from the home office 2-3 days per week.

The role:

• Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP IBP modules (Demand, Supply, S&OP, Control Tower) to support integrated business planning processes across the enterprise.
• Translate business forecasting, planning, and inventory requirements into scalable SAP F2P/IBP solutions, ensuring alignment with cross‑functional stakeholders in supply chain, finance, and operations.
• Drive end‑to‑end implementation activities, including blueprinting, data modelling, integration with ECC/S4, testing cycles, cutover planning, and hypercare support.
• Develop and maintain planning models, key figures, algorithms, and analytics, enabling improved forecast accuracy, scenario planning, and decision‑making.
• Provide ongoing governance, training, and best‑practice guidance, ensuring users adopt IBP capabilities effectively and that solution enhancements are delivered continuously.

We are searching for the following skills & experience:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience working with SAP, ideally focusing on SAP Supply Chain Planning solutions
• Strong knowledge of one or more of the following areas: SAP IBP, APO, F2PL, PPDS or ePPDS
• Previous experience working on at least one implementation of S/4HANA
• Ability to work on customization and configuration
• Previous experience working in an international environment
• Experience working within life sciences or a manufacturing industry
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluency in English is essential, Spanish would be a strong plus
