Aleph is seeking an experienced SAP FICO specialist to join our global finance rollout. You will partner with finance teams, interpret requirements, advise on feasibility, and help determine where automation adds value.

You will work closely with our SAP SD counterpart on S/4HANA rollout across ~70 offices and local finance needs, across Spain and beyond. The role emphasizes judgement over configuration, with AI-driven delivery and hands-on FICO work where appropriate.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience.
• Experience configuring SAP FICO on live projects with credibility.
• Strong understanding of GL, AP, AR, cost controlling and reporting.
• Ability to challenge requirements and explain reasoning to senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on S/4HANA experience across Private Cloud, Public Cloud, or on-premise.
• Professional English.

The Role

Our SAP finance capability is currently delivered primarily through external consultants. We are bringing this expertise in-house through a role that partners directly with our finance teams, develops a deep understanding of their processes, and helps determine which requirements merit investment.

The position places greater emphasis on judgement than on manual configuration. We apply AI extensively across our SAP delivery, and an increasing proportion of configuration work is automated. The core requirement is the ability to engage directly with Finance, interpret requirements accurately, and advise whether a change can be delivered efficiently or whether the effort involved would outweigh the business value.

You will work alongside our SAP SD counterpart on the same S/4HANA rollout across our remaining markets, covering approximately 70 offices and their local finance requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with finance stakeholders to understand their processes and translate business needs into workable SAP solutions.
• Challenge requirements constructively and propose stronger alternatives where appropriate.
• Configure and enhance SAP FICO functionality in S/4HANA, working hands-on where appropriate and leveraging AI and consultant support where it adds efficiency.
• Support the global rollout across our remaining countries, including local finance and regulatory requirements.
• Bridge finance processes across modules to ensure end-to-end alignment beyond FICO
• Direct external consultants toward the highest-value work and progressively reduce our dependency on them.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and maintain alignment between business, developers, and end users through implementation, testing, and go-live.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience, or less with demonstrable delivery on comparable projects.
• Demonstrable experience configuring SAP FICO on live projects, with sufficient depth to advise finance stakeholders credibly.
• Strong understanding of finance and controlling processes (GL, AP, AR, cost controlling, reporting)
• The ability to challenge requirements rather than simply accept them, and to explain your reasoning clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on S/4HANA experience — Private Cloud, Public Cloud, or on-premise are all equally relevant.
• An adaptable, fast-moving mindset suited to an environment that changes quickly.
• Professional English.

Advantageous

• S/4HANA Public Cloud project experience or certification.
• Multi-country rollout experience with a multinational organisation.
• A finance or accounting background subsequently applied within IT.

In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, we are committed to fair and open compensation practices. For this role, the minimum gross annual base salary is EUR 60,000 EUR.

In addition to base salary, this role includes a variable component, paid annually. The final offer will reflect your experience, skills, and the scope of the role.
