Westernacher Consulting is seeking a senior SAP FI/CO architect to lead end-to-end solution design for finance and controlling transformations. You will translate business needs into scalable SAP architectures and guide project teams to deliver robust implementations in international projects.

The role requires deep FI/CO expertise, strong stakeholder management, and experience across multiple industries. Hybrid working and global collaboration are core components of this position.

Formación

• 9–10+ years of SAP FI/CO experience and a track record in leading complex SAP transformations.
• Functional and/or technical proficiency across at least 4 full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Strong consulting, stakeholder management and C-level interaction skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end SAP FI/CO solution design for transformation initiatives.
• Translate business strategies into scalable SAP architectures and roadmaps.
• Own architecture decisions and guide multi-disciplinary teams across projects.
• Advise senior stakeholders and support pre-sales activities with design and estimates.
• Mentor consultants and developers to ensure quality and consistency.

You work on SAP consulting projects focused on Finance and Controlling designing and implementing solutions based on SAP FI/CO. You take ownership of defined work streams and contribute to high‑quality, end‑to‑end SAP implementations in international project environments. You collaborate closely with customers and project teams to translate business needs into robust SAP solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the design of end-to-end SAP solution architectures based on SAP FI/CO
• Translate business strategies and transformation goals into scalable, integrated SAP solution designs
• Own solution architecture decisions across projects, ensuring alignment with best practices, standards, and long-term roadmap
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including C‑level executives, and guide them through solution options and trade-offs
• Lead and mentor consultants and developers, ensuring solution quality and consistency across work streams
• Support pre-sales activities, including solution architecture design, estimations, and client presentations

Your Skills And Experience

• Minimum 9–10+ years of relevant experience in SAP FI/CO
• Proven track record in leading complex SAP transformation projects
• Functional and/or technical proficiency with at least 4 full-cycle SAP implementations
• Strong cross-module expertise to design robust end‑to‑end logistics solutions
• Strong configuration and solution design skills with a holistic architectural mindset
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, including C‑level interaction
• Experience working across multiple industries with a good understanding of finance and controlling processes
• Strong experience in pre‑sales and business development activities
• Strategic thinking combined with strong project and solution leadership capabilities
• SAP certifications in FI/CO are an advantage
• Experience in Public Cloud is an advantage
• Experience with SAP’s integration and transformation toolchain, such as Signavio, LeanIX, SAP Cloud ALM, and WalkMe
• Strong commitment to knowledge sharing, mentoring, and building organizational capabilities
• Designs AI‑enabled SAP solutions conceptually (e.g. process automation, embedded AI, analytics)
• Evaluates AI use cases, risks, and governance with customers

• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving skills
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality results and support client outcomes
• Willingness to travel depending on project requirements
