As a Sales Executive, Life Sciences, Safety Technology, EMEA, you will play a key role in driving growth across our Safety portfolio, partnering with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and clinical research organizations. You will engage senior safety leaders to understand their business challenges and position IQVIA's market-leading pharmacovigilance technology, analytics, and managed service solutions to improve efficiency, compliance, and patient outcomes.

This is a high-impact, strategic sales role for an experienced enterprise software professional with a strong track record of selling complex SaaS, technology, and services solutions within the life sciences industry. Working across the EMEA region, you will collaborate closely with product, consulting, and delivery teams to help customers modernize their safety operations and unlock the value of AI-driven pharmacovigilance.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business by prospecting accounts focused on Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance solutions, consulting services, hosting, and managed services.
• Meet or exceed annual quotas by identifying and developing new accounts, following up on existing leads, and generating both incremental and repeatable business.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with key target accounts.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Professional Services, Hosting, and Managed Services teams to ensure successful delivery of safety solutions and to develop client-centric offerings.
• Identify and respond to customer needs to define opportunities for Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety solutions, proposing tailored solutions aligned with client requirements.
• Manage assigned strategic and key account relationships individually or in coordination with Global and Regional Sales teams.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success selling enterprise solutions, consulting services, hosting, and managed services to Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device, and Clinical Research Organizations, with a strong focus on Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance.
• Proven experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced growth environment.
• Full sales cycle experience: prospecting, opportunity identification, solution development, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ambitious, driven, self-motivated, and adaptable to a high-growth sales environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA as required.

Highly preferred capabilities:

• Strong understanding of the pharmacovigilance and drug safety lifecycle, including pre-market and post-market activities.
• Experience selling drug safety technology, pharmacovigilance services, case processing solutions, signal detection solutions, safety analytics, hosting, and managed services.
• Experience engaging with Heads of Safety, Global Safety Leaders, Chief Medical Officers, Pharmacovigilance Operations Leaders, and Safety Systems stakeholders.
• Proven success in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment.
• 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related commercial role.
