Sales Engineer (SE)

About the Role

As a Sales Engineer at Permisso, you will embed yourself with our strategic customers, acting as a technical consultant, problem solver, and expert developer. You’ll be at the forefront of the pre‑ and post‑sale cycle, ensuring successful adoption and maximum utilization of our solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Sales Support: Partner with the Sales team on strategic opportunities by providing deep technical expertise, answering complex diligence questions, and helping secure the technical win.
  • Deployment Scoping & Planning: In the pre‑sale phase, work closely with our sales team and the customer’s implementation team to define the technical scope, map out the implementation roadmap, and set clear success criteria (time‑to‑value) for the new customer.
  • Implementation Engineering: Lead the technical implementation and integration of the Permisso solutions within the customer’s existing infrastructure, often involving complex data pipelines and security protocols.
  • Customer Integration: Work hands‑on with customer technical teams (IT, Engineering, Security) to design, code, and deploy our API solutions, ensuring seamless interoperability.
  • Create, document, and standardize reusable deployment patterns and technical playbooks to increase the efficiency of future rollouts.
Qualifications
  • Background in Software Engineering (SWE), Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting with at least 3 years of hands‑on coding and deployment experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software company.
  • Deep familiarity with API design, data structures, cloud infrastructure (GCP), and enterprise security concepts.
  • Native proficiency in Spanish and advanced level of English (required for working with European clients).
  • Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites when required for strategic deployments.
