A leading airline in Madrid is seeking a diligent Safety and Standards Administrator. The role involves managing internal safety reporting systems and investigating maintenance errors to ensure safety compliance. Candidates should have an engineering degree, good organizational skills, and computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office. While experience in compliance is appreciated, it's not mandatory. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to the safety of a fleet of over 600 aircraft.

Formación

  • Must be able to balance multiple priorities and hit tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience within compliance or safety is valued but not mandatory.
  • Must hold a valid EU/EEA passport.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage internal safety reporting systems.
  • Investigate maintenance errors in aircraft incidents.
  • Investigate events impacting safety of Ryanair Group operation.
  • Track Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs).
  • Review Allowable Levels of Safety Performance as directed by Safety Manager.
  • Ensure accurate input and retention of data.

Description

JC Aircraft Maintenance (JCAM) is one of Ryanair’s Engineering company providers supporting in both Line and Heavy Maintenance in Spain, Portugal, Morocco and France (SPMF) since 2010. We are currently recruiting for a Safety and Standards Administrative to join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 600 aircraft for one of the world;s largest and most successful airlines. The primary role of the Safety and Standards Administrator is to be responsible for developing statistical analysis within our team and analysing reporting data for trends related to hazards, events and occurrence.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Managing internal safety reporting systems
  • Investigating and reviewing maintenance errors in aircraft incidents due to technical reasons
  • Investigating and reviewing events and occurrences with a potential impact on the safety of the Ryanair Group operation
  • Track Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs)
  • Review and monitoring of the Allowable Levels of Safety Performance (ALOSP), as directed by the Safety Manager, as part of SMS Safety Assurance requirements
  • Ensuring accurate input and retention of data
  • Escalates safety reports as appropriate, provides report summaries and de-identifies them as applicable
  • Recognizes and promotes hazard reporting and ensures an effective safety reporting process
Requirements
  • Engineering Degree in Aeronautics, Mechanics or related field is valued
  • Highly organized individual with the ability to balance multiple priorities and hit tight deadlines
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills in EnglishPrevious experience within compliance or safety is valued but not mandatory
  • A valid EU/EEA passport
