Job summary

FUNDACIO INSTITU DE RECERCA EN ENERGIA DE CATALUNYA is seeking a Science Communication and Impact Officer to join its Corporate Development & Technology Transfer Department. You will lead communication and dissemination activities in Horizon Europe projects and coordinate networking events. The role requires strong writing, negotiation and strategic thinking to maximize research impact.

Fluency in English, Spanish and Catalan is essential, along with a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Science, Technology or Engineering plus university degree in Communication, Science Communication or similar.
• Proven experience in communication and dissemination activities in Horizon Europe projects, at proposal preparation and project execution phases.
• Knowledge of research social impact and impact strategy.
• High proficiency of English, Spanish and Catalan.

Offer Description

IREC is looking for a Science Communication and Impact Officer. The professional will be integrated within IREC’s Corporate Development & Technology Transfer Department as part of the scientific communication and research impact teams.

In particular, tasks include:

• Communication and dissemination activities in Horizon Europe projects.
• Coordination of networking activities (webinars, stands, workshops)
• Deployment of IREC’s research social impact strategy

The professional ideally would be skilled and experienced in scientific communication and research impact. Capacity to work in a team, flexible, goals oriented, innovative, with initiative and problem-solving skills would be valuable. High level of writing, communication and negotiation skills are mandatory.

Requirements

Research Field Engineering Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications
