A leading multinational hospitality group in Madrid is seeking an experienced Head Chef for the opening of a new Italian fine dining restaurant. This role involves leading gastronomic operations, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring high standards in food quality and presentation. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Italian cuisine and experience in a premium dining environment. Fluent Spanish and intermediate English proficiency are required. We are looking for a visionary and experienced Head Chef with a strong background in Italian cuisine for the opening of Casa METT Sitges.
Lead the conceptualization, creation, and launch of a new Italian premium / fine dining restaurant, together with the entire gastronomic offer of the hotel for the other F&B Outlets.
Oversee the daily operations of all F&B outlets in the hotel.
Manage kitchen staff, recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance.
Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and innovation across all outlets.
Control kitchen costs through effective budgeting, inventory management, and supplier negotiation.
Collaborate closely with hotel management, F&B, and marketing teams to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
Previous experience as Head Chef in a premium / fine dining environment in hotels or standalone restaurants.
Deep knowledge and passion for Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, with the ability to innovate while respecting tradition.
High standards in food presentation, hygiene, and quality control.
Fluent in Spanish and high intermediate level in English.
