Michael Page is seeking a Head of Purchasing to define and execute the purchasing strategy across our manufacturing operations. You will own supplier negotiations, contract management, and ERP-based purchasing processes to optimize costs and ensure compliance.

You will lead cross-functional teams in a multinational environment, drive supplier risk management, and coordinate with Operations to secure supply continuity while maintaining internal controls and governance.

Formación

• University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or similar.
• 6+ years of experience in purchasing within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
• Strong understanding of ERP-based purchasing processes (e.g. SAP, Infor LN, Dynamics).
• Strategic mindset and analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a multinational and cross-functional environment.
• Solid financial and commercial acumen.
• Approval of suppliers, price lists, and contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement the purchasing strategy aligned with corporate and financial objectives.
• Lead supplier sourcing, selection, and negotiation activities.
• Establish and manage supplier framework agreements and contracts.
• Own and maintain price lists, commercial conditions, and contracts in the ERP.
• Approve purchase orders according to delegated authority and ensure compliance with approval workflows.
• Manage changes to purchase orders affecting price, commercial terms, or contractual conditions.
• Ensure segregation of duties and compliance with internal control requirements.
• Monitor purchasing performance, savings, and supplier risks.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure supply continuity within the approved purchasing framework.
• Support audits (internal and external) related to purchasing activities.
• Functional owner of purchasing-related master data (suppliers, price lists, contracts).
