We create spaces where nature, work, and wellbeing meet — from Fuerteventura to Zanzibar and Sri Lanka.

Our Fuerteventura location includes boutique accommodation, coworking, yoga space, and the Secret Garden Restaurant.

We are now looking for a Resident Manager to lead daily operations and be the face of Surfescape for our guests and team.

Your Role

As Resident Manager, you will oversee day-to-day hotel operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience, while maintaining the relaxed, authentic atmosphere that defines Surfescape.

You’ll act as the bridge between guests, staff, and ownership — keeping things running smoothly, anticipating needs, and solving problems before they arise.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations: reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B coordination.
• Be present and available on-site to ensure guests feel welcomed, supported, and inspired.
• Coordinate and motivate a small, international team.
• Manage check-ins, guest communication, and service quality.
• Ensure property standards, cleanliness, and aesthetics are upheld.
• Handle incident reports and daily operational follow-ups.
• Collaborate with ownership and other managers on improvements and events.
• Keep simple operational reports (occupancy, feedback, maintenance).
• Keep track of accounting and KPIs reporting.

Your Profile

Previous experience in hospitality, preferably in boutique hotels, surf camps, or lifestyle spaces.

Fluent in English and Spanish (other languages are a plus).

Organized, hands-on, and guest-oriented.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Comfortable living on-site or nearby in Lajares.

Passion for surf, travel, and community-driven hospitality.
